Taraba Varsity VC Set To Build Botanical Gardens

To foster good education, Taraba Varsity VC Set To Build Botanical Gardens

Prof. Sunday Paul Bako, the vice chancellor of Taraba State University, has started a project to establish a botanical garden.

The Botanical Gardens will implement conservation programs for a variety of rare and endangered plant species, primarily assisting in situ conservation initiatives. As the premier botanical park in this region of the world, the Gardens will show a strong sense of dedication to the country’s needs for recreation, education, conservation, and sustainability.

Along with ornamentals, the garden will have a variety of orchid collections, bryophyte/fern collections, economic trees, palm trees, and both native and exotic flora.

In order to assess whether the facilities in the male and female dormitories needed to be renovated for the comfort of the students while they were studying, the vice chancellor went further to inspect the male and female hostels.

The vice chancellor is still dedicated to creating a positive learning environment where instruction and learning can flourish.
