TSU Clarification On The 50% Downward School Fee

ON THE SAID CIRCULAR CIRCULATING ON SOCIAL MEDIA IN THE NAME OF THE NEW TSU SCHOOL FEE REVIEW.

To clear the air on the said circular, yes it may be possible that the circular eminented from the management but without the signatory of the registrar of the University which for me it’s not something to hold onto for now but for the benefit of those who don’t know how the 50% order by HE Dr Agbu Kefas.
If we recalled the management released a circular on the 11th January 2023 (Attached below), in regards to new school fees review which is supposed to begin from the 2022/2023 session which for example my Faculty (EDUCATION) is suppose to be paying 70,000 starting from the new session which we are yet to start paying before the order of the Executive Governor (THE UNIVERSITY VISITOR).

Now divide 70,000 by 2 it will give you 35,000 (70,000รท2=35,000), which give you the 50% order by the Governor, I think the management has done justice in this part.

WHAT THE MANAGEMENT NEED TO CLARIFY US ON:

1. In reference to article 4 in the new circular.
What I don’t understand is telling us (the final year students) to pay another 10,000 naira (FACULTY OF EDUCATION) for Teaching Practice again after we have paid that in 300 level, I think the management need to clarify this, if it’s a mistake or what I don’t understand. If we are to pay another 10,000 naira it shows we are paying 20,000 naira just for Teaching Practice. Let’s just forget the 2000 naira in the name of teaching practice manual which we have paid already.
(Same thing applied to other Faculties who will be paying the said 10,000 naira which we have been paying from the initial).

2. And another thing I think the management should clarify us on, is the 35,000 for the whole session or per semester which is supposed to be stated clearly before some students start extorting their parents or guidance.

WE THE STUDENTS NEED SERIOUS CLARIFICATION ON THE CIRCULAR.
