Nigerians have started calling for Federal Government intervention following a trending video of a banner of singer Davido’s photo being burnt in Maiduguri.

In the video making the rounds online, the people of Maiduguri were seen protesting and by extension burnt a banner containing Davido’s photo following a controversial music video of his signee, Logos Olori.

Recall Intel Region reported that Davido recently promoted a music video of Logos Olori dubbed “Jaye Lo” and the Muslims found it offensive.

The music video depicted Logos Olori on a building singing and making prayer gestures while other Muslims were below religiously carrying out their Solah and dancing.

Davido after sharing the video on his social media pages gets trailed by an extensive and heavy backlash as the Muslims demand him to remove the video and tender apology.

While some started to cancel singer Davido on Twitter, some states in the north that include, Kano, Sokoto, and others banned people from listening to Davido’s music in the public.

Davido bows to pressure following criticisms that trailed the video of his new signee Logos Olori and he deletes the music video from his social media pages.

Following the latest development by Davido, the Muslims in Maiduguri in a new clip gathered together and started burning a banner of singer Davido’s photo asking him to do a public apology.

One of the Muslims on Twitter identified as @Sarki_sultan tweeted; Davido should apologize let end this. It takes nothing to say “I am sorry”
